We worked with a multimedia broadcasting network that had some problems with the classical on-premises setup. Their servers received overwhelming traffic from the conflicted specifications from their audiences, who expected high-quality, on-demand content, which resulted in continuity of breakdowns and expensive costs. Further, their attempt to go global meant that they needed an affordable and efficient solution. In order to sort out these problems, the channel has embarked on a cloud migration project.
That is, the channel was able to accommodate increased viewer traffic during live events due to the scalable nature of the cloud environment offered.
The CDN increased the rates of content delivery by roughly 40 % and thus increased the engagement of viewership.
Cloud-based tools enabled effective cross-functional collaboration, even when personnel from other time zones were involved.
